Honkai: Star Rail has many more stories to tell, but these stories will be in your mind even after you move away from Belobog and Xianzhou Luofu. There are stories here that you’d expect to be lighthearted, only to be heavier than expected – all for some Stellar Jade.
But these stories aren’t great just because you can get your fix of Stellar Jade and Credit. These narratives provide more information about your favorite characters, your relationships with others, and some cultural background of the worlds you’ve traveled through.
10 From Xianzhou, with love
If you’ve completed this story, you’ll know that it reveals the complexity of loneliness. You might not agree with someone fishing – or bluntly, scamming people out of their money, but this adventure story tackles the difficulties of being socially rejected and lonely as a result.
You might be taken aback by the NPC, Wen Furui, who is the center of this quest, as it’s clear he’s only after the costume of a Foxian woman. But the appeal of this story is how it reflects the reality of loneliness in an advanced society, where people start buying parasocial relationships to fill their need for companionship.
9 Origin of Medicine
This companion quest is one of the best, as it gives you an idea of how much Natasha really cares for the citizens of the underworld. She cares even if the underworld members don’t follow her medical advice – and she cares little if her patients turn against her for a quick fix, because she understands their desperation.
But what matters to her is that people are not misled by pseudoscience and alternative medicine that does more harm than good. Another big part of her companion’s story is the fact that we get to know about her and her background, and why she became a doctor in the underworld despite being privileged.
8 You already know me
This particular story is Honkai: Star Rail’s version of Gossip Girl if it were on a space station and it was about public embezzlement of funds. You have a more interesting backstory on Asta and probably laughed at the fact that she is a wealthy astrologer with bad spending habits, much like someone from Genshin Impact.
But the even more interesting part of this story is the little twist it has at the end, which is hinted at very subtly but doesn’t give it away very well. If you haven’t finished this story yet, then you’re in for a good laugh.
7 Blizzard Immunity
Blizzard Immunity finished what you started in Origin of Medicine. You continue your journey with Natasha after the Underworld has opened, and your first plan of action with her is to visit her parents, who she’s been separated from for a decade. It’s a touching and well-deserved reunion for your favorite doctor.
While it’s a cute tale about a torn family being brought together once more, it’s also a good story that revolves around closure and what’s been lost. Bittersweet is the best way to describe this story, but at least Natasha finally got to close this chapter of her life once and for all.
6 Express Time
Serval is known for her innovative mind, but being flighty and free-spirited seems to be the consequence of someone eager to learn more. So it’s no surprise that she asked if she could join him aboard the Astral Express. It is natural that anyone who is excited about new discoveries wants to know the world beyond Jarilo-VI.
Welt and Himeko weren’t opposed to the idea and were more than receptive, so traveling with Serval was just a few steps away from reality. But Bronya has her own offer, which has put a fork in Serval’s road. On this companion quest, you’ve come to see those who will surely miss Serval and the memories she will leave behind – even long after her departure on Jarilo-VI.
5 Old Foreman’s Treasure
The Old Taskmaster’s Treasure is the game’s version of the old adage, “money can’t buy happiness” – or isn’t the end of it, even for a pair of denizens struggling in Belobog’s underworld. You followed the brave captain of the Moles, Hook, on his quest to retrieve and repair his father’s Geomarrow Detector.
But unsurprisingly, in the end, Hook’s father explained that the Geomarrow Detector isn’t his greatest treasure – and that his treasure is alive and well, which is all that matters. You can rest easy knowing that Hook and his father have a healthy and loving relationship after this companion quest, even if they don’t have much.
4 hook gift
Hook’s Gift is a continuation of Old Foreman’s Treasure, and gives you a good background on Hook. You found out that she was adopted and that her father only valued the importance of birthdays when adopting her. You go on a wild ride to find a gift for Hook’s dad alongside her, even getting involved in a bidding war.
But you also saw that Hook, for all his indiscipline, is actually a good kid who would still resort to acquiring things the right way. She has integrity and cares about the people around her, even if she’s embarrassed to say it out loud.
3 Just a kid
This is the companion quest after the Time Express, and Gepard expresses that he will support his sister’s decision no matter what – but he will miss her nonetheless, and wants her to think carefully before making the decision to leave. your home. planet. You’ve probably thought about leaving your own country once or twice, but switching from ships to planets is definitely no joke.
One of the best things about this quest is that you can see how much the two brothers care for each other, even though they’ve gone their separate ways in life. Serval had a lot of unresolved pain from her past and felt the need to run away, but together with her brother, you are able to give her the courage to face it all.
two rarely affectionate
Robots don’t have feelings – and according to Svarog himself, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime anomaly that happens in Belobog. So it comes as a surprise to everyone, even Clara herself, who grew up among robots, when it was recorded that Pascal gained consciousness. This little robot tried to fix Rivet Town even after the villagers fled because of the Fragmentum.
This mission was more than just fixing a malfunctioning robot and choosing its fate; it made you feel sorry for Pascal and came to appreciate the dynamic between Clara and Svarog. Even though Svarog ruled out that Pascal would be difficult to keep, you’ve seen how he respects Clara’s wishes and only wants the best for her as her family.
1 To: The Weak Star
Rocky Martinez was a researcher on the Herta Space Station, and if you knew anything about this NPC, it’s that he has a huge crush on Lesley. Bernard, who thinks Rocky should focus on his studies instead of chasing after someone who has been unresponsive for a long time, took matters into his own hands.
You’re given a blue pill or red pill situation in this mission, and whatever you choose to give Rocky, you think at that point it will be for his good. If you chose to tell him the red truth, you probably have the poem Bye, Herta on your bookshelf. You wouldn’t see this passionate searcher for a long time (if ever again), but it’s nice to see that there are those who are willing to fight the ebbs and flows of time just for someone else.
